SHOPPING & DINING IN WHISTLER VILLAGE
We are located within 5 driving minutes of Whistler Village which is a lively, pedestrian-only alpine village. Shop to your heart’s content, enjoy dinner and drinks or simply take in the street theatre.
CYCLING
We have easy access to The Valley Trail. It is a paved, 35-km multi-use trail that begins at Spring Creek in the south, extends through Whistler
Village, and terminates at Emerald Estates in the north. Scenic and easy, it’s a great way to get to know the Whistler area. Municipal parks, beaches and a number of more challenging mountain
biking trails can all be accessed from the Valley Trail. You’ll also find a fish ladder and wildlife viewing platform along the flattest portion of the route, which runs between Rainbow Beach and
the Meadow Park Sports Centre. The Valley Trail is well marked and easy to find. The best time for cycling on the trail is April through
October.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
If the grueling climbs don’t take your breath away, the views certainly will! It’s classic mountain bike touring all the way:
mountains, rivers, creeks and deep-green forest.
The best time for mountain biking is May through September.
ZIPLINING
Experience the next best thing to flying with a thrilling winter zipline adventure. Learn about Whistler’s ecology and wildlife while safely gliding high over frozen creeks and snow-covered valleys and old-growth forests. This laugh-out-loud, unique activity is perfect for the whole family. Choose from either ziplining in a seat on Cougar Mountain or using a harness to sail between Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. You won’t believe how fun it can be.
LAKES
Sandy shores and shallow pristine lakes. Wade or swim through clear waters. No tides, currents or sharp rocks to worry about. Pack a picnic and enjoy the beach with stunning mountain peaks as your backdrop. Canoe and kayak rentals are available at some locations.
